It’s time to sign up for orchestra and band classes
We are excited to announce an instrumental program for incoming fifth grade students! Students can apply now to participate in free band or orchestra classes next year.
This year-long program will be offered twice per week, beginning Oct. 1, 2024, and ending May 30, 2025. Classes will be taught by VPS teachers from 3:15 until 4 p.m. at a high school location. Transportation will transport students from their elementary school to a high school hub. Parents will need to pick up students after class.

- Skyview
All instrumental classes are taught by certified teachers and are offered free to currently enrolled VPS students.
- Band class: clarinet, flute, trombone, trumpet
- Orchestra class: cello, viola, violin
To complete an online registration form, go to the link below. You must sign in to a Google account to submit the form. All VPS students have a Google account (123456@student.vansd.org). These are to be submitted no later than Thursday, September 23, 2024.
Register online today and download the medical release and consent form. Return the completed forms by September 23, 2024, to your teacher or mail it to Libby Odren, Visual and Performing Arts at JPC, 2901 Falk Rd., Vancouver, WA 98661.

Estudiantes que ingresarán al 5º grado y Padres de Familia:
Nos complace invitar a todos los estudiantes que ingresarán al 5º grado a participar en el Programa de Instrumentos del año escolar 2024/2025.
Este programa que dura todo el año escolar, se ofrece dos veces por semana, de 3:15 pm 4:00 pm, comenzará el 1 de octubre de 2024 y terminará el 30 de mayo de 2025. Los autobuses escolares transportarán a los estudiantes de su escuela primaria a la escuela preparatoria donde recibirán las clases instrumentales. Los padres de familia necesitarán recoger a sus estudiantes después de la clase.
Tres diferentes escuelas preparatorias ofrecerán el programa a todos los estudiantes del grado 5: Columbia River, Fort Vancouver y Skyview. Todas las clases instrumentales son enseñadas por maestros titulados del Distrito Escolar “Vancouver Public Schools” y se ofrecen gratuitamente a los estudiantes que están inscritos actualmente en el Distrito Escolar “Vancouver Public Schools”.

Мы рады пригласить всех учеников, которые в будущем учебном году будут учиться в 5-м классе, принять участие в музыкально-инструментальной программе в 2024-2025 учебном году.
Эта программа, которая будет длиться весь учебный год, предлагает два занятия в неделю с 3:15 до 4:00 дня, начиная с 1 октября 2024 года, программа закончится 30 мая 2025 года. Школьные автобусы будут возить учеников из их начальной школы в старшую школу. Родители должны будут забирать детей после окончания занятий в оркестре. Занятия оркестра для ВСЕХ учеников 5 класса будут проводиться в помещениях трёх различных старших школах: Columbia River, Fort и Skyview. Во всех инструментальных классах преподают дипломированные учителя Ванкуверского школьного района, и обучение в этих классах предлагается бесплатно для учащихся, которые в настоящее время зарегистрированы в Ванкуверских государственных школах.

Класс струнного оркестра: Виолончель, альт, скрипка
Заполненную регистрационную форму и разрешение/ медицинскую форму следует сдать не позднее четверга, 23 сентября 2024 года.
